Through its "biodegradation solution" service carried out in the laboratory, Tame-Water carries out analyses with the aim of evaluating and controlling the biodegradability of the substances produced.

Analyses prior to certification

Resources

Biodegration Solution offers three levels of measurement are available depending on the objectives.

  • A fast organic load measurement (a few hours) which gives an accurate 5-day Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) equivalent with a high flow capacity.
  • A miniaturised but complete BOD5 measurement, allowing medium flow screening and qualification of biodegradation performance in accordance with NF EN 1899 standards.
  • A complete material balance in adapted chambers quantifying the rate of mineralisation, the rate of incorporation into biomass, the respective rates of volatile and remaining organic carbon.
